My name is Wentao Ren. I am an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Jinan University, Guangzhou, China.
I received my PhD in Accounting from Nanjing University. I visited Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in the accounting department between 2018 and 2023.
My research interests include information intermediaries, retail investors, and capital markets. Specifically, I study how retail investors shape market efficiency in the presence of different information intermediaries.
